Big Brothers Big Sisters 2014 Miracle Maker Award

West Encounters East Documentary Filmmaker  Stella M. Holmes was recognized as a Miracle Maker at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami’s 2014 Miracle Makers Luncheon and Fashion Show. The designation celebrates those who, by virtue of their good deeds and energetic force, strive to make a positive impact on the lives of children in their community.

Big Brothers Big Sisters has a valued reputation throughout the country for providing dedicated, inspirational mentors for children in need, who each day face socioeconomic, academic and personal challenges.

“I feel very honored to be selected as a Miracle Maker, because I do believe in miracles,” Ms. Holmes said. “I’m proud to be a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters, which makes miracles possible for so many children.
