JOEL HOLLANDER
JOEL HOLLANDER, Ph.D. has more than twenty years of instructional experience as a professor of Art History at universities both in the United States and Asia. His areas of concentrations include Modern and Contemporary Art, specializing in the intersection of Western and Eastern aesthetics. Throughout his career, he has been credited with academic publications, books, and reviews that address topics exploring social issues. He has served as a consultant on documentary films, including Stella Holmes’ award-winning West Encounters East (2014), and has collaborated with painters, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, and installation artists from diverse cultures ranging from Latin America to Ireland, Australia, China, South Korea, and Japan.
